EXECUTIVE BOARD STATEMENT
Having served on the Board of Directors for the Geospatial Professional Network (GPN – formerly URISA), including as a past GPN President, I've had the opportunity to learn from national and international colleagues in ways that have shaped how I think about our profession. I'm ready to bring that experience closer to home and play a meaningful role in guiding KAMP's continued work, particularly in fostering the improvement of geospatial information management and use across the Commonwealth.
In my day-to-day work at Cultivate Geospatial Solutions, I work alongside government agencies at every level to solve geospatial challenges; this practitioner perspective is something I'd bring to the KAMP board. A key focus of mine would be strengthening connections between KAMP members and peer organizations regionally and nationally, sharing best practices and lessons learned, and elevating Kentucky voices in broader conversations. I am also a fan of this year's conference theme of "Linking People, Places, and Projects" – it resonates with me because it reflects exactly the kind of connective work I believe KAMP is positioned to do.
