In helping serve communities, KAMP invites you to learn more on how GIS is mission-critical in responding and preparing for emergencies and disasters.
This workshop will cover:
1. Utilization of existing geospatial infrastructure resources in the Commonwealth and the regions
2. How to share geospatial information for response and planning
3. Using GIS to plan for hazard mitigation in your community
4. How to collect accurate and precise location data in the field for later analysis in a GIS, desktop or cloud
5. How to utilize web mapping services and data and information provisioning sites
6. Use of GIS in utilities, infrastructure and public safety
To help you develop these and other GIS skills – attend this KAMP GIS Workshop that will take place in the Pike County Emergency Operations Center - Pikeville KY on Wednesday August 17th, 2016.
