Name: Vince DiNoto
Experience: I have formally worked in GIS as an educator for more than 20 years. I have been a college educator for my entire career, with degrees from Indiana State University. I have taught at Indiana State University, Indiana University Southeast, and Jefferson Community and Technical College.
Job Title: Director of the National Geospatial Technology Center of Excellence (GeoTech Center) and Professor at Jefferson Community and Technical College. I manage the national center, as well as teaching workshops.
Membership: more than ten years, I am a KAMP Fellow.
KAMP: I have been a member of the board, committee chair, and arrange the workshops for the conference.
Why serve: I have a strong belief that you need to give back to your community and mentor others. Throughout my career, I have been mentored by many outstanding individuals, and I have mentored many educators across the country.
Being a servant leader is at the heart of who I am, and I would like to help in continuing the growth of KAMP, making it a cornerstone for the Geospatial Technology Community both locally and nationally.
