Christopher McNees has over 10 years of professional GIS experience and is currently the lead geospatial manager at Copperhead Environmental Consulting. He oversees all of the company’s data management, geospatial operations, and serves as their primary part 107 UAS certified drone operator. Joining KAMP as a student at EKU over 13 years ago Chris has attended multiple conferences, workshops, meetings, and served as a board member in 2023. His love for the geospatial field and state of Kentucky naturally formed a strong relationship with KAMP. That foundation is also the driving force behind his desire to make the organization more accessible to young professionals, and encourage their involvement, and help the geospatial community of Kentucky grow.
